I moved to La Verne when I was in 3rd grade and have great memories of running through the orange groves, flying kites in the street and playing ball in the empty fields with the neighborhood kids. Sure is nice to see that one of my former neighbors is now the Mayor!

However, if you are looking for a more conventional means of transporting your pets or wildlife, you can find all types of carriers at Amazon.

One of the things I have done in a effort to keep focused and be productive is to add Google Calender to my schedule. My time on the internet as over the years brought friends on the other side of the globe, both personal and professional so when I decided to add the official holidays to that calendar I opted to also add the Australian holidays to my calendar.

This random act brought the coming Australian holiday of Anzac (April 25th) to my attention. I didn’t have a clue what Anzac was so I Googled it and found it is a day set aside to honor the Australian and New Zealand army troops, specifically those who fought in World War I. I think we North Americans often forget there were other nations at our side during those battles. So along with my gratitude to the Veterans of the US, I offer my thanks to the Anzac.

I came across this lovely video dedicated to these brave soldiers and would like to share it with you all.
