Just can resist the urge to brag about my home town. I moved to La Verne when I was in 3rd grade and have great memories of running through the orange groves, flying kites in the street and playing ball in the empty fields with the neighborhood kids. Sure is nice to see that one of my former neighbors is now the Mayor!
