After many years of postponements, we finally set off for the Southern Hemisphere and the trip of a lifetime.

Following a brief visit to the Great Barrier Reef, we then spent a FABULOUS week with friends (Colleen, Rick and Pat) in Newcastle and Sydney. We met up with my sister Donna and her husband Wendell in Perth with whom we spent a day seeing Fremantle before setting sail on the Rhapsody of the Seas for the southern coast of Australia and New Zealand.

Ports of Call: Bunbury, Albany, Adelaide, Melbourne, Burnie & Hobart (Tasmania), Milford Sound, Dunedin, Christchurch & Wellingtion (New Zealand) and Sydney. The highlight of the cruise was a two day overland excursion from Milford Sound to Dunedin, passing though Te Anau,, Clyde, Queenstown (overnight) and Allentown.
